Barrington Lodge- This newly-refurbished accommodation is 15 minutes' drive from Gatwick Airport, a 10-minute walk from Crawley train station and close to the town centre. Barrington Lodge is situated in the centre of Old Crawley and away from the busy main roads. All rooms are well-equipped. The guest house is well placed for trips to the South Coast and the Sussex Downs. Crawley has fast rail links to both London and the South Coast.

Many grades of walks can be started from the house the staff are happy to advise you on them and offer maps and guides to help. Locally organised tours can also be arranged for you, with collection and drop-off at the property. Although not a hotel, Broadlands Guest House is proud to have been awarded '3 AA Yellow Stars Highly Commended', in July 2009. This award is given to the top 10% of 3-star Guest Accommodation. Guests are offered free car park passes for use whilst staying at Broadlands. These can be used in all SLDC car parks in the area.

The Park Hotel- We are situated just ten minutes from Newcastle town centre and located directly over looking the beautiful Northumberland coastline. We have fifty-five bedrooms, forty-eight of which have full sea views, allowing the real splendour of the sea to add pleasure to any business trip or alternatively make for a terrific family holiday. The Wheatsheaf Inn- Situated on Broadway in the charming little market town of Shifnal in Shropshire, this Grade II listed inn is an authentic traditional pub with cosy, comfortable accommodation. Originally built in the 17th century, the Wheatsheaf Inn boasts charming original features and sensitively refurbished accommodation. There are just 2 rooms, both of which have been carefully refurbished in a traditional style. In some parts of the accommodation, 17th century oak floors have been revealed and delicately restored. The original timbers and beams are still in place and remain a traditional feature of the inn. The pub area also still features huge beams from the building's original timber frame, as well as low ceilings, real open fireplaces and traditional furniture. The inn is situated on the main road running through the village from north to south.The M54 motorway is within easy reach and the town's railway station is within easy walking distance.

Homesdale- With heated pool and secluded garden, this friendly, modern and well-run B&B is on a bus route to Stansted Airport, Bishop's Stortford town centre and the railway station. Homesdale is ideal for guests wishing to make day trips to either London (south) or Cambridge (north). Both cities are 35 minutes by fast train from Bishop's Stortford.
