Lynton House- Situated only 50 metres from the pier and the sweeping promenade, Lynton House is a superior, family-run guesthouse that has been awarded 4 AA stars for elegance and cleanliness. This immaculately maintained guest house lies under the Great Orme, just off the seafront. Most of the bedrooms have been refurbished and all of the rooms are modern, comfortable and finished to a high standard. Hospitality is warm and welcoming and there is a comfortable lounge overlooking the pretty courtyard. The lounge has an honesty bar for residents and is a great spot to sit and relax or watch TV. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lounge and in some of the rooms. Please advise the guest house in advance if you would prefer a room with Wi-FI. Please note that Lynton House does not have a lift. Rooms on the lower floors are available. There is a small car park for guests' use (subject to availability).

Southmead Guesthouse- Southmead Guesthouse has a good location between Llanelli town centre and the new Millennium Coastal Park. It is within 10 minutes' walk of the local train station. The Southmead is convenient for Carmarthen and Swansea and is close to Llanelli College and the hospital. Llanelli has many pubs and great places to eat in, as well as fun activities like paintballing and horse riding. There are also some unique fishing spots.

Ffarm Country House- This Grade II listed building dates back to 1706 and is located in the beautiful village of Betws yn Rhos. Ffarm Country House is set in set in 2 acres of grounds and is ideal for all types of stay. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, robes, slippers and an en suite bathroom. There is a village pub 4 minutes' walk away, and walking, golf, shooting, fishing, climbing, tennis, dry-slope skiing and sailing can be enjoyed in the local area. Salutation Inn- Situated in the Pembrokeshire National Park at the foot of the Preselis hills in the rural village of Felindre Farchog, this friendly inn offers good quality food and accommodation. Salutation Inn has a car park that is large enough to cope with all guests. It features a lounge bar serving lunch and dinner daily, a local bar with pool table, and the newly built Denley's restaurant for fine dining (currently only open at weekends). The Mirador- The Mirador is a truly unique guest house with themed, cosmopolitan rooms and extremely welcoming staff. You will not find rooms like this anywhere else. Each room at The Mirador has superb d?cor, each portraying themes such as Roman, Egyptian or Oriental. All have TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi access and en suite bathroom with power shower. The Horse and Jockey Inn- Originally a 14th century coaching inn, the Horse & Jockey offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, owned by the same family since 1989. Situated in Knighton town, close to the Offa's Dyke Centre, the inn offers a cosy lounge bar with log fire and a main bar with weekend entertainment. At the end of the large courtyard is an 80 seater restaurant which offers an extensive menu. Owner and chef Gary Salt can cater for any occasion. Booking is essential at weekends.

Gwesty'r Plas Coch bala- Originally built as a coaching inn in around 1780, the Plascoh Inn is now a family-run hotel, centrally located in the lovely Welsh town of Bala. The hotel offers free parking and comfortable, great-value accommodation. The regions major road network can be accessed easily. The hotel works closely with the National Whitewater Centre to offer guests discounted rates on the activities available: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing on Lake Bala and white-water rafting. Guests can also enjoy special discounted rates on many of the other exciting activities on offer in the area, including golf, fishing and quad biking.
