Macdonald Swan's Nest Hotel - Extensively refurbished in November 2008, this attractive hotel has a superb location, overlooking the River Avon and the RSC Theatre; 5 minutes' walk from the town centre. The restaurant, bar and lobby area were fully refurbished in 2008, along with most bedrooms. The new rooms have 26-inch LCD TVs (with Freeview), minibars, air conditioning, walk-in monsoon showers and free internet access. There is a well-stocked bar and Le Bistrot Pierre offers delicious French cuisine and superb views of the river.
