Just a short stroll away from the beach, this old-world-style guesthouse is set in Dymchurch, next to the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Steam Railway and only 15 minutes from the Eurotunnel. Named after Dr Syns, a mythical character created by actor and author Russel Thorndyke, the Dr Syns Guesthouse dates back to the 1700s, making it one of the oldest buildings in Dymchurch. It still boasts many of its original features, including wooden beams and traditional open fires. On request, Dr Syns can cater for special occasions and business events. Up to 35 people can be seated and up to 45 can be accommodated buffet-style.
